His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, received today His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, at the interactive center in Khuzam suburb, which is being developed by the National Housing Company (NHC) north of Riyadh, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in serving the Ministries of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and Environment, Water and Agriculture. The visit comes as an extension of the effective partnership between government agencies under the umbrella of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - to provide diverse housing solutions for Saudi families, with the aim of increasing the rate of homeownership.
His Excellency accompanied the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture on an inspection visit to the Khuzam residential suburb projects located north of Riyadh, on an area exceeding 30 million square meters, providing more than 50,000 units within a fully serviced residential environment that provides a quality of life for the residents.
For his part, the CEO of the National Housing Company, Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Bati, gave a visual presentation on the National Housing Company’s efforts in cooperation with real estate developers to enhance the local content ratio in housing projects, which exceeded 93%, and the role of the effective partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and the National Water Company in providing services to Saudi families and developing the infrastructure.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Budair, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, the CEO of the National Water Company, Engineer Nimr bin Mohammed Al-Shibl, and the CEO of the National Housing Company, Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Bati.
