With the aim of opening fuel stations in the Kingdom
Al-Haqil sponsors the signing of a concession agreement between Wafi Energy Company and Shell International.
In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Wafi Energy Company signed an agreement with Shell International Company granting it the exclusive franchise right in Saudi Arabia to establish and operate fuel stations and car services for Shell International Company in various cities of the Kingdom.
Shell is the world’s largest operator of fuel stations and automotive services, operating more than 46,000 stations in 80 countries. It is the technical partner and main sponsor of the Ferrari Formula 1 team. Shell will bring its latest technical expertise to Saudi Arabia to provide the best services at the highest global standards.
Wafi Energy Company also signed another memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, to benefit from the services provided by the (Opportunities) portal, which was established and is managed by the Ministry, to support partnership and enhance integration between the public and private sectors to provide investment opportunities for all interested parties from the private sector, while maintaining planning standards and development directions for cities and their needs and the availability of municipal properties suitable for this type of activity.
