His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid Al-Hogail, handed over the first phase of residential units of the Jawharat Al-Rasifah project in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, which was implemented by Laden Investment Company, in the presence of His Excellency his deputy, Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Budair, and a number of regional secretaries.
During the handover of the housing units, His Excellency the Minister affirmed the keenness of the wise leadership - may God support it - to provide housing for Saudi families through housing programs, noting the efforts of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in constructing and building diverse housing units, and enabling beneficiary families to obtain them through the various programs.
The delivery of the units in its first phase comes within the framework of the Sakani program’s keenness, in cooperation with real estate developers, to deliver the units to beneficiaries as soon as they are completed, as a result of the effective partnership between the public and private sectors through the Partnerships Program, which aims to provide diverse housing solutions and products that meet the needs of citizens at competitive subsidized prices, in an effort to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program – one of the Saudi Vision 2030 programs – to raise the ownership rate to 70% by 2030.
The handover of units in the Jawharat Al-Rusaifah project comes as an extension of what was previously handed over within a number of projects in the Makkah region, as part of “Sakani’s” keenness to enable Saudi families to own their first home and benefit from the diverse housing options provided by the program.
His Excellency the Minister was briefed on the implementation phases and delivery plans for the Jawharat Al-Rusaifa project, which consists of 34 residential buildings and includes 1035 housing units allocated to beneficiaries of the Sakani program.
The Al-Rusaifah Jewel project, an off-plan development, is located in the Al-Rusaifah district of Makkah, between the third and fourth ring roads, and is a 15-minute drive from the Grand Mosque. Spanning 87,660 square meters, the project features open spaces and green areas designed to meet the desired quality of life and aspirations of Saudi families. The project offers five different unit options and varying sizes.
