The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, represented by the Holy Capital Municipality, prepared 28 municipal service centers in the holy sites during the Hajj season of 1447 AH, to be field points closer to the densely populated areas, and more capable of monitoring operational work, and increasing the speed of response in Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat.

The centers were distributed across the holy sites, with 22 centers in Mina, 3 centers in Muzdalifah, and 3 centers in Arafat, providing direct field coverage of the locations most closely related to the movement, accommodation, and transportation of pilgrims between the holy sites.

The centers work to monitor municipal services around the clock, through field teams that supervise cleaning and environmental sanitation work, monitor markets and stalls, monitor observations and address them, in addition to direct coordination with the competent departments and relevant authorities to ensure the continuity of service efficiently during peak times.

The Secretariat supported these centers with human resources, field leaders and the necessary operational equipment, to be a practical extension of the Hajj plan, a daily control point for the quality of implementation, and a speedy response to changes in the field.

These centers serve a primary objective of bringing municipal services closer to the pilgrim, and transforming field monitoring into a tangible impact on cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency, thereby contributing to creating an organized and safe environment for the pilgrims in the holy sites.
