The ministry explained that the volunteer efforts included organizing the headquarters of the Jood Housing Initiative, serving more than 2,500 beneficiaries, which contributed to facilitating housing support procedures and enhancing the speed of their completion, in addition to distributing 12,000 breakfast meals in the streets and public parks to ensure that they reach the beneficiaries in a timely manner during the holy month.

She explained that the initiatives also included the implementation of more than 3,000 field surveys to measure residents’ satisfaction with municipal services, in support of continuous development processes, raising performance efficiency, and strengthening communication channels with the community.

The ministry affirmed that volunteer work in the municipal and housing sectors is one of the paths that support enhancing community participation and empowering national energies, through organizing volunteer opportunities and measuring their impact, which contributes to establishing a culture of shared responsibility and enhancing integration between government agencies and society.

She pointed out that these efforts are an extension of social responsibility programs and the development of the non-profit sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in supporting volunteer work and increasing its contribution to national development.
