The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing signed a memorandum of understanding with Makatfa Company to strengthen the relationship with the private sector, with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation and strengthening the relationship with the private sector, and identifying and overcoming all obstacles and challenges facing the public and private sectors, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.
The Ministry was represented during the signing of the agreement by the Head of the Municipal Services and Infrastructure Sector, Dr. Ahmed Jamil Qattan, while Makatfa Company was represented by its founder and CEO, His Highness Prince Waleed bin Nasser bin Farhan Al Saud.
The agreement aims to study the most prominent challenges facing the private sector and to submit periodic reports by the Ministry regarding this, and to hold meetings between the two parties to enhance partnership with the private sector, and to cooperate with the Ministry’s Customer Experience Agency to enrich the Agency’s objectives from the perspective of the private sector and the Ministry’s Licensing and Compliance Agency regarding the review of the requirements for commercial activities.
It is worth noting that this agreement comes within the framework of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing’s keenness to establish strategic partnerships with the private sector, and to embody integration between various governmental and private sectors, and within the joint efforts to expand the areas of creative and innovative support in the field of city services and quality of life in them.
