The Ministry of Municipality and Housing showcases key housing projects at the "Distinguished City Projects in the Era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques " exhibition.

 

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, through the Sakani program, will showcase the most important housing projects currently being implemented in partnership with the private sector during the third session of the exhibition (Distinguished Cities Projects in the Era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques) in Riyadh, under the title “Vision.. Promise and Achievement”; with the participation of many entities from the public and private sectors, as well as holding the first forum accompanying the exhibition, during the period from 24 to 28 September 2022, which coincides with the celebrations of the ninety-second anniversary of the Kingdom’s National Day.

The Sakani program provides thousands of diverse housing units in various regions and cities of the Kingdom, in modern residential environments that offer a lifestyle that meets quality of life standards with their diverse designs and spaces to meet the needs and aspirations of Saudi families. The housing projects being implemented under the supervision of the “Wafi” program include spaces allocated for gardens, green spaces, government, commercial, recreational and health facilities to create an attractive environment in which the elements of quality of life are integrated .

The “Etmam” Center, which is the unified portal for serving real estate developers, presents the most important services available to real estate developers to obtain the necessary facilities, approvals and licenses to implement residential and commercial residential projects easily and with high reliability, through several agreements signed with the concerned authorities that would facilitate the procedures for developers to obtain the necessary licenses for real estate development activities, with the aim of increasing the supply of residential units .

The “Wafi” program participates in reviewing the real estate projects it supervises in all regions of the Kingdom, in addition to explaining the mechanism for issuing licenses for off-plan sales, leasing and marketing projects, continuing its role in organizing the off-plan sales and leasing market and raising the level of transparency, and introducing the controls and requirements for obtaining the necessary licenses to practice real estate activities, according to clear and specific regulations that guarantee the rights of the concerned parties, and the impact of this on stimulating investment in the real estate sector, enhancing the supply of housing units, and reducing the costs of property ownership for Saudi families .

Through the exhibition, the Ministry is keen to introduce the “Ejar” program and its role in preserving the rights of parties involved in the rental process, in addition to ensuring the full benefit and use of the rented residential unit, the program’s impact on reducing disputes, the commitment to applying the terms of the unified contract, the requirements for real estate brokers to join the electronic portal, the mechanism for monitoring and reading rental indicators, as well as introducing the electronic solutions provided by the program, to contribute to developing, organizing and facilitating the real estate rental sector, in a way that achieves balance in the sector and enhances confidence in it, and contributes to stimulating investment in it .

The White Land Program highlights, through the exhibition, the results of the second phase of the program, the mechanism for estimating fees imposed on white lands and the factors affecting this, in addition to how unregistered lands are registered in the system and the fines imposed for non-registration, the objectives for which the program was created, in addition to the cities and the current and future phases of the system.
