The Ministry of Municipality and Housing launches a package of support services for commercial licenses through the "Baladi" platform.

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing has launched a package of support services for commercial licenses through its digital platform "Baladi", with the aim of improving the customer experience in the field of commercial licenses and conducting their activities with greater flexibility without delay in submitting applications.

The ministry explained in a press statement that the support services for commercial licenses include (the service of objecting to the non-transfer of ownership of the commercial license, approving the addition of an old license, objecting to the suspension of a license after subsequent inspection, in addition to objecting to the cancellation of the commercial license).

She noted that all support services for commercial licenses are provided to customers through the "Baladi" platform, which can be accessed at any time and from anywhere without the need to visit the secretariats and municipalities.

The ministry provides guidance manuals that enable customers to learn how to benefit from the support services, which can be accessed by visiting the link https://balady.gov.sa/Services/?id=311 .

It is worth mentioning that the “Baladi” digital platform achieved a number of accomplishments during 2021 within the comprehensive digital transformation journey of the municipal sector, with the aim of raising work efficiency and making it easier for customers to access municipal services with ease and convenience around the clock. The platform received more than 3 million service requests from about two million users, through more than 124 services provided by the platform that meet more than 80% of the digital needs of customers of the municipal sector.
