"مُلّاك": أكثر من 2900 جمعية مفعلّة في العام الجاري

The director of the Malak program, Abdulrahman Al-Rayes, revealed an increase in the number of active associations in the program during the current year, as the number of active associations exceeded 2,900, which is up to 93% of the approved associations during the year.

Al-Rayes explained, during the workshop "Promoting a Culture of Coexistence in Jointly Owned Properties and Real Estate Investment Opportunities Therein" - which was held today on the sidelines of the Restatex Jeddah Real Estate Exhibition - that this increase came after supporting and empowering associations and facilitating their activation, with regard to nominating and voting on the property manager and proposing subscription amounts, as the "Mullak" program worked to facilitate the activation of struggling associations whose members face difficulty in activating them; by proposing subscription amounts for the association, and proposing the property manager; in order to activate the association and support it to carry out its work, which contributes to preserving the rights of owners and creating a sustainable coexistence environment, as owners can vote on changing the subscription amount according to the needs of the property, and re-electing the property manager in coordination with the head of the association to call for a general assembly in which owners vote on decisions.

Al-Rayes stressed that the “Malak” program aims to regulate the relationship between owners and occupants of real estate units with common parts, through reviewing and approving the registration of associations, in addition to setting systems, regulations, and control mechanisms, organizing property and facility management services, and carrying out the educational and awareness role, in a way that contributes to preserving rights, making good use of the property, and promoting a culture of coexistence.

It is worth noting that “Malak” allows associations to benefit from their resources, such as returns on investment of owners’ association funds and investable common parts, donations, gifts, bequests and endowments, in addition to owners’ subscriptions.
