"Municipality and Housing": More than 40,000 reports processed via (Tawakkalna Services) to improve the urban landscape

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing revealed that more than 40,000 requests for reports related to the urban landscape improvement service were processed through the Tawakkalna Services application, from the launch of the service in mid-July 2022 until the end of October of the same year. This comes within the framework of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority “SDAIA”.
The ministry explained in a press statement today that the number of users of the reporting service since its launch through the reporting portal in the (Tawakkalna Services) application has exceeded 14,610 users during three months, and the detailed data of the reports showed interaction with all service points, such as (lighting poles, sidewalks, cleanliness, demolition and construction, gardens and parks, potholes, damaged cars, etc.).
This service comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to achieve the objectives of the Quality of Life Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - and to activate the importance of community oversight and adopt modern technology to enhance communication and facilitate access to services, through multiple partnerships with all entities providing technical services, and within the efforts of “SDAIA” towards achieving digital empowerment for government agencies, including the (Tawakkalna Services) application.
The ministry called on citizens, residents and visitors to cooperate with it in addressing manifestations of visual pollution by reporting violations through the municipalities’ special applications or the unified reporting number 940 or the Baladi and Tawakkalna services applications.
