تطبيق بلدي": أكثر من 1,7 مليون بلاغ عبر "صور وأرسل" لتحسين المشهد الحضري

The “Baladi” application revealed that it received more than 1.7 million reports of visual pollution through the application via the “Snap and Send” service, which aims to empower community members and involve them in improving the urban landscape to contribute to achieving the objectives of the Quality of Life Program - one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs.

The initiative to address visual pollution aims to raise awareness among citizens and residents and enhance their role in improving the urban landscape by maintaining the cleanliness of public places and properties and reporting visual pollution by photographing the violation and sending it via the Baladi application, so that the report can be dealt with and addressed through the regional secretariats and their affiliated municipalities.

Visual pollution reports included several categories, including (construction debris, public cleanliness, excavation barriers, street excavations, encroachments, lighting poles, dilapidated sidewalks, etc.). Citizens and residents can submit urban landscape improvement reports through the Baladi application in all cities and governorates of the Kingdom. The application can be downloaded via the link bit.ly/38YI5nS for various smart devices.

This initiative is one of several initiatives contributed by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing within the Quality of Life Program – one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 – with the aim of improving services provided and providing a better lifestyle for the Kingdom’s residents and visitors.

It is worth mentioning that the Baladi application provides its services to more than 2.2 million users in various regions of the Kingdom, as “Baladi” aims to improve the quality of municipal services provided in all municipalities and secretariats of the Kingdom, activate the role of beneficiaries as active partners, improve their level of satisfaction and enhance the level of transparency among the entities of the municipal sector.
