Riyadh will host next Wednesday the 20th meeting of Their Highnesses, Excellencies and Highnesses the Ministers concerned with housing affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.
The meeting comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to achieve the common goals upon which the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf was founded, and to enhance the efforts of the Gulf housing sectors and raise the efficiency and quality of services provided to the citizens of the Gulf States.
The leaders of the housing sector in the GCC countries will discuss several files, foremost among them the strategy for establishing joint housing information databases among the GCC countries. The meeting will also discuss the unified general system for property owners, the GCC Housing Award, the mechanism for exchanging experiences, expertise and information, coordination and preparation for regional and international meetings, highlighting Gulf housing work in regional and international forums, in addition to monitoring and documenting the efforts of housing ministries in the GCC countries in confronting the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Preparatory meetings are scheduled to be held for the coordination and technical committees concerned with housing affairs, and meetings for Their Excellencies and Highnesses, senior housing officials in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
