"Sakani": 20,000 Saudi families have moved into their first home since the beginning of the year

The “Sakani” program revealed that 7,510 Saudi families benefited in February from all the housing options and financing solutions that the program provides electronically to its beneficiaries through easy and convenient procedures. The number of families who moved into their first home reached 10,218 Saudi families, bringing the number of beneficiary families since the beginning of the year to 17,519 families. The number of families who moved into their first home since the beginning of the year reached 20,726 families, within the framework of joint efforts to improve the affordability of housing costs, in order to achieve the goals of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - by providing opportunities to own suitable housing for Saudi families, through the provision of multiple housing products and diverse financing solutions.

“Sakani” provides optional support packages within its solutions and options offered to Saudi families, bringing the number of housing and financing options to 9. The packages include (the support package, the rental package, the furniture package, the self-build package, and the home renovation package). This is within the framework of continuous efforts to improve market efficiency, as these packages provide the beneficiary with flexible and multiple solutions, by providing immediate non-refundable support to beneficiaries of ready-made housing units, under construction, and self-build, in partnership with the Real Estate Development Fund and financing entities from banks, financing institutions, and real estate developers. He pointed out that this comes from “Sakani’s” belief in the continuity of housing support and the importance of diversifying financing and housing options to accelerate the pace of Saudi families owning their homes.

“Sakani” provides several services through its multiple channels to serve beneficiaries, as 194,297 services were provided to beneficiaries who contacted the program through the official account on the “Twitter” platform, as well as the unified center for beneficiary care and (WhatsApp Business). The “Sakani” website and application also provide a variety of housing facilities and services, including real estate consultant, issuing real estate transaction tax certificates for the first home, obtaining price quotes from financing entities, issuing land contracts electronically, benefiting from the engineering designs service and the “approved contractor”, the electronic financing service and the “real estate market”, as well as registration and immediate eligibility, and issuing building permits electronically.
