"سكني": بدء تسليم الوحدات السكنية للأسر السعودية المستفيدة من مشروع مدينة الورود بالطائف

The Sakani program announced the start of handing over housing units to beneficiaries of the Rose City project, where more than 100 housing units were handed over to Saudi families benefiting from the project located north of Taif, as part of the program’s keenness to hand over the units to beneficiaries as soon as they are completed, stressing that work is underway to hand over the rest of the units to beneficiaries as quickly as possible.

This comes as a result of the effective partnership with the private sector through the Partnerships Program, which aims to provide diverse housing solutions and products that meet the needs of citizens at competitive, subsidized prices, in an effort to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program – one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs – by raising the ownership rate to 70% by 2030.

The Rose City project is being implemented by a consortium of major national and international companies under the umbrella of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - and under the supervision of the National Housing Company - the investment arm of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing - to meet the needs of citizens in Taif Governorate towards owning their first home.

The Rose City project is located on one of the main roads coming from Makkah (Al-Sail Road), within the urban area of the new neighborhoods in Taif. The project includes detached residential villas of varying sizes, with a commercial entertainment center in the middle, 19 educational facilities, 32 mosques, 13 congregational mosques, 6 health facilities, in addition to a number of public gardens, parks and commercial centers.

Upon completion, the project will include pedestrian walkways, gardens, fountains, seating areas, swimming pools, clubs, restaurants and cafes, in addition to a distinctive mountain park covered with trees and roses, a children’s amusement area, and bazaar and festival areas. More than half a million square meters have been allocated for shops and malls, making the project a commercial landmark in Taif Governorate.

It is worth mentioning that the “Sakani” program works to provide more housing and financing options for citizens, in order to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program – one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 – in increasing the rates of homeownership among Saudi families, and to continue supplying diverse housing units to the market in a manner that suits the desires and needs of citizens, in partnership with the private sector and qualified real estate developers.
