"الأراضي البيضاء": 20 مليون م2 في الرياض ستسجل بعد 20 يومًا

The White Land Program clarified that after 20 days - God willing - the program will register more than 20 million square meters of developed land in the city of Riyadh from the lands that the program has identified but whose owners have not registered, in coordination with the municipalities and the Ministry of Justice. It is expected that it will provide approximately 60,000 plots of land with average areas of 350 square meters, as a single plot may include more than one residential unit, or plots of land with larger areas that include more groups of residential units with vertical construction, which could inject hundreds of thousands of residential units into the real estate supply in Riyadh.

During his participation in the Maskan Real Estate Exhibition, he explained that Riyadh had the largest share of the total raw (undeveloped) land registered in the program among other cities, as the program registered about 100 million square meters of land that are being developed or fees are being collected on it.

The program confirmed that if the registration deadline for the second phase in Riyadh ends on June 15, 2022, the lands identified by the program will be registered, in addition to issuing a non-registration penalty of up to 100% of the fee value, and issuing a fee invoice for the land, stressing its call for land owners to register their lands in compliance with the system, to avoid the non-registration penalty, and to benefit from the services and partnerships with other entities and programs provided by the White Lands Platform, in order to obtain the necessary permits and licenses to revive and develop the land.

It is worth noting that the White Land Program aims, through its systems and regulations, to increase the supply of developed land in order to achieve a balance between supply and demand, provide residential land at reasonable prices, protect fair competition and reduce monopoly.
