"الأراضي البيضاء": مساحات الأراضي المفوترة في الدورة السابعة في الرياض تتجاوز 50 مليون م2

The "White Land" program revealed that the invoice for the seventh cycle of the first phase of fees in Riyadh was issued last January. 116 plots of land with areas exceeding 50 million square meters.

The program explained in a press statement today that the total number of invoices for white land fees issued in all cities where the fees are applied for the first and second phases since the program was launched has exceeded 16,000 invoices, including the invoices for the seventh cycle of fees in Riyadh in its first phase for the year 1444/1445 AH.

The program called on landowners to take the initiative to develop their lands or pay within one year from the date of issuance of the invoice, in order to avoid fines resulting from non-payment within the specified period, which may reach 100% of the value of the fee, in addition to the obligation to pay the fees due. The mechanism for evaluation and estimation of the value of the land and the fee due can be viewed through the website of the White Land Fees.

He added: “White land fees invoices have the status of an enforceable instrument, so they are collected through the Enforcement Court in case of non-payment. Any beneficiary can inquire about the existence of an existing fee on any white land by the deed number only through the website, and view all the details of the billing cycles related to the cities subject to the system through the link idlelands.housing.gov.sa .”

It should be noted that failure to pay within the legal deadline results in a fine that may reach 100% of the value of the fee, and that the fees apply to land owned by more than one owner with one deed, so that the fee is imposed on each owner according to his share of the land, and according to what was decided in Article Fifteen of the Executive Regulations of the White Land Fees System, the amounts collected from fees and fines are spent on developing infrastructure projects for housing projects, connecting public facilities to them, and providing public services in them.
