"الأراضي البيضاء": 27 يوما على انتهاء مهلة التسجيل للمرحلة الثانية في مكة وجدة وحاضرة الدمام

The White Land Program confirmed that the deadline for the second phase of white land fees in Makkah, Jeddah and the Dammam metropolitan area is 27 days from now, calling on owners of white land in the three cities to quickly register their land on the electronic portal for white land fees.

The program explained in a press statement today that failure to register within the specified deadline will result in a fine of up to 100% of the fee value, noting that for land owned by more than one owner with a single deed, fees will be applied according to each partner's share, and objections to the fees can be made after the registration period has ended and the invoice has been issued by submitting evidence of impediments to application.

He added: “Beneficiaries can inquire about the existence of an existing fee on any undeveloped land using only the deed number through the undeveloped land fees website, stressing that the goal of imposing the fees is to increase the supply of developed land in order to achieve a balance between supply and demand, provide residential land at reasonable prices, protect fair competition and reduce monopolistic practices, and landowners must register their land within the legal deadline to avoid a fine for non-registration.”

It is worth noting that the first phase of land fees includes undeveloped land with an area of 10,000 square meters or more, and the second phase includes developed land with an area of 10,000 square meters or more, and the total land for one owner with an area of more than 10,000 square meters in one plan, and in the third phase fees will be imposed on developed land with an area of 5,000 square meters or more, as well as the total developed land for one owner with an area of 10,000 square meters or more in one city.

The program had previously announced that revenues from fees spent on infrastructure development and service delivery exceeded 2.2 billion riyals for more than 85 residential projects around the Kingdom.
