His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Budair, and His Excellency the Egyptian Deputy Minister of Housing for National Projects, Engineer Khaled Mahmoud Abbas, inaugurated the Al-Ahram Real Estate Exhibition, which is being held for the first time in the Kingdom, during the period from June 9 to 11, 2022, at the Hilton Hotel in Jeddah, in the presence of His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahram, Abdul Mohsen Salama, and a number of Their Excellencies and Highnesses.
Al-Budair and Abbas toured the exhibition, which was attended by the Saudi Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and the Egyptian Ministry of Housing. Following this, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahram presented a commemorative shield to His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing on the occasion of the 147th anniversary of the founding of Al-Ahram Foundation.
The Al-Ahram Real Estate Exhibition aims to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of real estate, introduce investment opportunities, meet with investors and real estate developers, encourage partnerships in the private sector, and learn about the best global practices in the field of urban development and modern building methods in the two countries.
The exhibition is also an opportunity to highlight developments in the real estate sector, as it brings together all those interested in the real estate sector, including developers, marketers, financiers and investors, under one roof, with the attendance of all segments of society, and showcases model residential projects that meet quality of life standards and achieve sustainable development goals in both countries.
The exhibition was attended by His Excellency the Egyptian Deputy Minister of Housing for Infrastructure Affairs, Dr. Sayed Ismail, His Excellency the Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom, Hisham Fathi, ambassadors and consuls of a number of Arab countries and businessmen in the Kingdom.
