Al-Budair inspects Taif housing projects and emphasizes their implementation according to quality standards.

His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Budair, inspected today the “Sakani” program projects in Taif Governorate, which number 3 projects that provide more than 5,519 diverse housing units between villas, townhouses and apartments, in addition to 3 residential schemes that provide about 12,868 plots of land, and His Excellency reviewed the progress of work and the level of achievement.

The visit included the “Wadi Jalil” scheme located within the “New Taif” project towards the northeast of the current city of Taif, on an area of about 13 million square meters. The scheme is distinguished by its strategic location near Taif University, and it is also distinguished by its proximity to the urban area and Taif International Airport. It also included the “Azhar Taif” scheme project located in Al-Hawiyah neighborhood, north of the governorate, on an area of more than 800,000 square meters and provides 1,080 residential plots, which are expected to be offered soon to beneficiaries of the “Sakani” program.

During his visit, His Excellency emphasized the continued support that the housing sector receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince – may God protect them – to facilitate homeownership for Saudi families benefiting from the “Sakani” program by providing diverse housing options and solutions within easy and convenient procedures to contribute to increasing the rate of homeownership for Saudi families to 70% by 2030, in line with the objectives of the Housing Program – one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. He pointed out that the projects under construction in partnership with the private sector are being implemented according to quality and appropriate price standards to provide an integrated lifestyle that takes into account the availability of necessary service facilities, including educational, health, security and recreational facilities.

Taif Governorate is witnessing the implementation of three residential projects under construction in partnership with real estate developers, distinguished by their strategic locations in the heart of Taif. Among them is the “City of Roses” project, which is the largest residential project under construction in the governorate, as it includes residential units of up to 4,475 villas located within the urban area on Al-Sail Road. Another is the “Taj Al-Masif” project, which is located in the middle of the governorate in Al-Rahab neighborhood on an area estimated at more than 440,000 square meters. It is 10 minutes away from Taif University and the new King Salman Hospital and about 15 minutes from Taif International Airport, in the middle of all important services and locations in Taif Governorate. The project, which includes 556 residential villas with areas ranging between 300-400 square meters, is distinguished by modern designs that take into account the needs of citizens and the culture of Saudi society.

Taif also includes the “Al-Fath Project”, which provides 488 residential units, including apartments and villas, located on an area of more than 109,000 square meters in the Al-Sail Al-Saghir neighborhood, in the middle of the Riyadh-Al-Sail road, near vital sites such as Taif International Airport, Taif University, and other facilities and services. The project consists of 95 two-story residential buildings that include 5 residential units and a number of residential villas of varying sizes and models.

At the level of plans, Taif Governorate includes two residential land plans: “Al-Jalil Oasis,” which provides 6,670 plots of land, and “Al-Miqat Oasis,” which provides 5,118 plots of land. Contracts for its land were issued through the “Sakani” website and application, and self-construction work has begun by the beneficiaries, in addition to the “Azhar Al-Taif” plan.
