His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, today inaugurated the fifth edition of the Global Project Management Forum 2026, which is being hosted by the capital, Riyadh, over three days at the Fairmont Riyadh Hotel, under the slogan "The Next Generation of Project Management: People, Operations, and Technology".
The forum brings together a select group of leaders, decision-makers, experts, specialists and practitioners in the field of project management from around the world to discuss the most prominent transformations taking place in business environments, review best practices and global experiences, and exchange knowledge and expertise in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of project implementation and maximizing its economic and developmental impact.
The forum is being organized in light of the rapid development in the Kingdom’s project management system, enhancing implementation efficiency, and supporting development projects and initiatives, in addition to consolidating the Kingdom’s presence as an international platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences in this field.
The forum targets specialists in the public and private sectors, executive leaders, project, program and portfolio managers, engineering and consulting firms, entrepreneurs, young professionals, and those interested in developing project management practices and institutional innovation.
