His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, inspected today a number of pivotal projects in the city of Arar, during his visit to the Northern Borders region.
His Excellency, accompanied by the Secretary of the Northern Borders Region, Engineer Shamam bin Saeedan Al-Shammari, visited the Cultural Center in Arar, Al-Burj Park, the Flower Garden, Prince Abdul Mohsen bin Jalawi Bridge, the Rose Garden, the Northern College, in addition to a number of investment projects.
He also visited the headquarters of the Northern Borders Region Municipality, where he met with the heads of the region’s municipalities, the municipality’s deputies, and a number of investors and businessmen. The meeting addressed a number of topics and municipal projects and the most prominent challenges in the Northern Borders Region.
His Excellency’s visit to Arar today witnessed the inauguration of a number of vital projects worth 678 million riyals, including the launch of two housing projects for beneficiaries of developmental housing in the governorates of Tarif and Rafha, with a value exceeding 167 million riyals. The Northern Borders region has 15 housing projects for Saudi families benefiting from the Sakani program.
