Al-Hogail sponsors the signing of an agreement between “Mawa” and anb to build 100 housing units for the neediest families

Mawa Charity has signed a cooperation agreement with Arab National Bank (anb) today to build 100 housing units for the most vulnerable families benefiting from the Development Housing Program under the community project "Rahab." The project is sponsored by His Excellency Minister of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.

The project aims to create 100 housing units for the most vulnerable families benefiting from the "Development Housing" program in various provinces of the Kingdom. Under the agreement, Arab National Bank will implement the project under the umbrella of sustainable community development initiatives, benefiting over 500 beneficiaries upon its completion.

Mr. Talal bin Mohammed Al-Khunaini, Deputy Minister for the Third Sector and Community Participation, affirmed that the "Rahab" project is part of the projects adopted by the "Development Housing" program to secure suitable housing for the most vulnerable families. He commended the constructive efforts of Arab National Bank and the Mawa in the project.

On his part, the spokesperson for "Mawa," Youssef Al-Firdous, explained that the project falls within Mawa’s strategy to integrate with partner entities and achieve common goals by actively implementing them.

The Managing Director and CEO of Arab National Bank, Obaid Abdullah Al-Rasheed, expressed his pride in partnering with the Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing and "Mawa". The partnership aims to improve the quality of life for the beneficiaries of this project, achieve family stability for them, and contribute to increasing citizens' homeownership in line with the goals of Vision 2030. He highlighted Arab National Bank's efforts in community development work.

It is worth mentioning that the "Rahab" project seeks to provide a developmental model under the framework of innovative corporate social responsibility programs with a sustainable impact on the non-profit sector's development in the Kingdom.
