Deputy Minister of Municipalities and Housing inspects housing projects in Tabuk region and directs their swift completion

His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Budair, today inspected the housing projects available to beneficiaries of the “Sakani” program in partnership with the private sector in the Tabuk region, which number 7 projects that provide more than 6,754 diverse housing units between villas, townhouses and apartments, in addition to 5 residential plans that provide about 2,071 plots of land, and His Excellency was briefed on the progress of work and the level of achievement.

The visit included the “Anwar Al-Qadisiyah” scheme located in the center of Tabuk city on King Faisal Road. The scheme is characterized by the presence of large areas of green spaces and educational and health facilities, the “Durrat Tabuk” project, which is one of the largest housing projects in the region and provides 1056 apartments on an area of more than 76,000 m2, the “Wahat Tabuk” project, which includes 732 apartments, and the “Basatin Tabuk” project located in Al-Masif neighborhood and is easily accessible from several main roads, namely King Faisal Road and King Khalid Road, and provides about 812 townhouses on an area of 247,000 m2.

During his visit, His Excellency emphasized the continued support that the housing sector receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince – may God protect them – to facilitate homeownership for Saudi families benefiting from the “Sakani” program by providing diverse housing options and solutions within easy and convenient procedures to contribute to increasing the rate of homeownership for Saudi families to 70% by 2030, in line with the objectives of the Housing Program – one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 – noting that the projects under construction in partnership with the private sector are being implemented according to quality standards and appropriate prices to provide an integrated lifestyle that takes into account the availability of necessary service facilities, including educational, health, security and recreational facilities.

The Tabuk region includes a number of residential projects distributed across several governorates, including the “Tabuk Housing” project, which provides 901 residential villas, the “Umluj Housing” project, which contains 359 villas, in addition to the “Tayma Housing” project, which provides 388 villas, and the “Tabuk Valley” project, which was recently offered for reservation as part of the options for projects under construction and developed by the National Housing Corporation ( NHC ), under the supervision of the off-plan sales or leasing program “Wafi”, and provides 501 residential villas.

At the level of the plans, the Tabuk region includes 5 residential plans, namely: “Anwar Al-Qadisiyah” which provides 830 plots, “Najmat Al-Wajh” which provides 222 plots, “Iskan Tayma” which provides 376 plots, “Asdaf Al-Sultaniyah” in Haql Governorate which provides 230 plots, and “Nawras Al-Iskan” in Al-Wajh Governorate which provides 413 residential plots. The plans witnessed the issuance of their land contracts electronically through the “Sakani” website and application, and recorded an acceleration in self-construction work by beneficiaries from Saudi families.
