His Excellency, the Minister of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, visited the Holy Sites in Makkah today to oversee the preparations of the Ministry represented by the Holy Capital Municipality and the sub-secretariats, in receiving the guests during Hajj season of 1445H. He assessed the readiness to provide the best services to the pilgrims, ensuring that they perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.
During the visit, His Excellency conducted an inspection tour in the presence of His Excellency, the Holy Capital Secretary, Mr. Musad bin Abdulaziz Aldaood, inside the Holy Sites. He was briefed on all municipal services, facilities, and field centers, as well as the readiness of the human resources and work teams. He emphasized the importance of providing all services that facilitate the performance of rituals for the guests and maintaining their safety.
His Excellency stressed the need for continuous and meticulous field monitoring to ensure the implementation of the highest standards of quality and efficiency in performing tasks and providing the best municipal services. He highlighted the importance of integrating efforts and working with high efficiency to achieve the highest levels of care and public safety for the guests. He also commended the efforts made by the Holy Capital Municipality and the sub-secretariats to provide the best services for the guests in Makkah and the Holy Sites.
Al-Hogail held a meeting with the Municipality’s leaders, where he was briefed on the readiness of plans, programs, and municipal services related to public health, food safety, cleanliness, road maintenance, lighting system operation, and cleaning of rainwater and flood drainage networks. He emphasized the importance of ensuring the highest levels of safety and comfort for the pilgrims during their stay.
