Ministry of Municipalities and Housing: More than 180 development programs and 112,000 beneficiaries of non-profit sector programs during the first half of 2026
The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing revealed the implementation of more than 180 development programs in partnership with the non-profit sector during the first half of 2026, in addition to establishing and empowering more than 85 non-profit organizations, while more than 112,000 beneficiaries benefited from development programs and capacity-building programs .
The ministry explained that the establishment and empowerment of non-profit organizations comes within the efforts to raise their institutional efficiency, enhance their readiness, and support the sustainability of their developmental impact, with the aim of expanding their participation in areas related to the municipal and housing sector .
She explained that the development programs implemented in partnership with the non-profit sector included a number of specialized tracks, including housing services, neighborhood centers and urban development, and honoring the dead, to support sustainable development and improve the quality of life .
She added that the fact that more than 112,000 beneficiaries have benefited from development and capacity-building programs reflects the wide scope of the implemented initiatives, and the continued work to raise the capabilities of non-profit organizations and enable them to provide a more sustainable development impact, stressing the continuation of her efforts in empowering the non-profit sector and expanding its participation in municipal and housing fields, which enhances its role in supporting development and improving the quality of life .
