Today, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the Ministry of Health signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening joint cooperation in enabling Ministry of Health employees to benefit from housing support, which contributes to facilitating first home ownership for beneficiaries. This took place in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing for Housing Support, Yousef bin Abdulaziz Al-Dahash, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Human Resources, Reem bint Saleh Al-Ghanem.

The memorandum includes cooperation in introducing housing support products and related services to Ministry of Health employees, through the implementation of awareness programs and the organization of introductory visits to the Ministry’s headquarters in various regions of the Kingdom, which expands the options available to beneficiaries and supports appropriate housing decision-making.

Areas of cooperation also include coordination between the two sides to study opportunities and explore joint initiatives that contribute to providing sustainable housing solutions for Ministry of Health employees, in addition to enhancing institutional integration in a way that raises the efficiency of implementing joint initiatives and achieves their objectives.

This memorandum comes as an extension of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing’s efforts to build partnerships with government agencies, which will enhance access to housing support products for wider segments of beneficiaries and raise the efficiency of integration between government agencies in providing services.

The memorandum is expected to contribute to enhancing the ability of Ministry of Health employees to own a home, supporting the housing stability of families, and contributing to building more sustainable and vibrant communities, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and enhancing the quality of life by providing diverse housing options that meet the needs of beneficiaries.
