The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing confirmed the continuation of monitoring work on shared housing sites for individuals in various regions of the Kingdom, noting that reports received through the "Baladi" platform or the unified number (940) represent an effective support channel that helps the competent authorities in monitoring and addressing violations, which enhances compliance with technical and health requirements and safety standards.

She explained that receiving reports through official channels increases the efficiency of follow-up work, and enables specialized teams to deal quickly with violations and take the necessary regulatory measures regarding them, in order to preserve public health and safety, and reduce irregular practices that may affect the quality of residential neighborhoods.

The ministry indicated that regulating group housing for individuals comes within integrated efforts led by the ministry through the “National Program for Developing Group Housing for Individuals”, in partnership with relevant government agencies, with the aim of developing and regulating the sector, raising the quality of housing allocated to workers, and providing a safe, healthy and sustainable residential environment, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in improving the quality of life and enhancing the sustainability of cities.

She stressed the importance of continuing coordination with relevant authorities to raise the level of compliance with the regulations and requirements governing group housing, in parallel with the continuation of field inspection tours.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing called on members of the community to utilize official channels when reporting any violations, stressing that community awareness and effective reporting support the efforts of regulatory bodies and contribute to the rapid handling of observations and the preservation of the quality of the residential environment.
