The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and the Ministry of Education signed a joint cooperation agreement, with the aim of improving the level of service in the field of business and the investment environment, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, and His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan.
This agreement aims to improve the investment environment and facilitate the procedures for issuing municipal licenses and approving school plans in the private education sector, by reducing the number of procedures required to issue licenses through the (Baladi) platform.
The agreement also contributes to unifying the investor's journey in obtaining building permits in cooperation with accredited engineering offices, in addition to giving the investor the opportunity to know the time plan for review and preparation of designs.
This agreement aims to increase the rate of achievement and satisfaction in the digital government services provided, and to raise the level of joint cooperation between government agencies, within the framework of the continuous and joint efforts aimed at accelerating the government digital transformation process in the Kingdom in accordance with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
