The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing (MOMRAH), represented by the Agency for Stimulating Housing Supply and Real Estate Development has announced the provision of more than (3,182) housing units, and the approval of approximately (11,426) other housing units, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to provide adequate housing for development housing beneficiaries.
MOMRAH has made available (3,182) housing units, including (1,081) using construction technology, distributed over 13 regions in the Kingdom. Makkah was allotted (1,288), Riyadh region (305), the Eastern Province (300), Jazan (616), Asir (299), Najran (105), and (88) units in Al-Qassim.
Within the scope of the same initiative, Madina region received (52) housing units, Northern Borders Province (37), Tabuk and Al-Baha each was allotted (25) units, while Hail and Al-Jawf received (22) and (20) units respectively.
The number of new units approved as freshly developed projects across the Kingdom in the first half of 2023 was (11,426), including (4,130) using construction technology. The approved units are distributed as follows: (5559) housing units in Makkah region, (1483) in Riyadh region, (742) in the Eastern Province, (516) in Jazan, (313) units in Asir, (83) units in Najran, and (870) units in Al-Qassim.
The number of agreed upon developmental housing units in Madina is (1013). The Northern Borders Province was allotted (182) housing units, while Tabuk, Al-Baha, and Al-Jawf Regions were allotted (490), (144), and (31) residential housing units respectively.
Through the Developmental Housing Program, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing aims to provide housing units for the neediest families among the program’s beneficiaries, and to diversify housing options in partnership with the private and non-profit sectors across the Kingdom, to provide beneficiaries with appropriate housing that meets their aspirations and desires.
