"مُلاك" يسجل 49% نمواً في الجمعيات المعتمدة و69% في الجمعيات المفعلة خلال 2022

The Owners Program recorded a remarkable growth in the number of approved associations by 49% during the year 2022 compared to the same period last year, exceeding 8,000 associations until the end of last August, while the percentage of activated associations reached 69% during the current year, confirming the interest of owners and residents of jointly owned units in establishing associations, approving them, activating their roles and carrying out their work .

The program explained in a press statement today that the increase in the number of approved associations that have a basic system from the General Authority for Real Estate for guidance regarding the affairs of the association, the distribution of roles among members, and the appointment of a president for the association to carry out the tasks assigned to him, came within the framework of facilitating the procedures for registering, activating and approving the joint property owners’ units electronically, in addition to addressing the challenges facing some associations, which was reflected in the willingness of residents of jointly owned units to establish owners’ associations and have them approved by the program .

This reflects the efforts made to raise the level of the real estate sector, spread the culture of coexistence, preserve the rights of owners and occupants of jointly owned real estate units, and increase the ownership of Saudi families within residential communities to reach an ownership rate of 70% by the year 2030, in accordance with the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

It is worth noting that the program recently announced its approval of 875 owners' associations for "off-plan sales" projects after obtaining the necessary approvals to establish the associations and appoint the developer as the head of the association, through sales contracts attached to the disclosure form that contains the name of the association, the head, the property manager, the proposed subscription amount, and the real estate unit data.
