The Deputy Minister of Municipalities and Housing for Housing Supply and Real Estate Development, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Tuwail, witnessed the signing of agreements between Washah Company and landowners to develop four residential projects in the Al-Aarid and Al-Narjis neighborhoods of Riyadh. This step embodies the Ministry's approach to supporting and enabling initiatives based on strategic partnerships between landowners and real estate developers, considering them the primary driver for increasing the housing supply and diversifying the options available to Saudi families.
Al-Taweel stressed that the ministry pays great attention to supporting this type of partnership, which increases real estate development opportunities and creates effective integration between the parties of the system, noting that these agreements aim to transform raw land into integrated residential projects, which contributes to raising the pace of supplying units to the market and expanding housing options in line with the aspirations and needs of beneficiaries.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing explained that strengthening ties and partnerships between owners and developers is one of the most important paths supported by the Ministry to raise the efficiency of real estate development and accelerate the utilization of developable lands, which enhances the market’s ability to respond quickly to demand and supports the sustainability of the growth of the real estate sector in general.
The agreements include the development of four projects comprising various residential units (floors and apartments) in the Al-Aarid and Al-Narjis neighborhoods, which contributes to enhancing urban diversity in the growth areas of Riyadh.
The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing continues its role in creating a stimulating investment environment by supporting initiatives that bring together landowners, developers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure the efficient use of land and the development of sustainable housing projects that meet market needs and support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in increasing homeownership.
