The National Housing Company (NHC ) signedan alliance agreement with Arabian Centers Company to build and operate an integrated shopping center in the Murcia project located north of Riyadh, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.
The CEO, Engineer Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Bati, represented “National Housing Company(NHC)” during the signing, while “Arabian Centers” was represented by the company’s Managing Director, Mr. Mohammed Murad.
This project is the first of its kind in the residential development sector in the Kingdom, which comes on an area of about 180,000 m2, and contains 150 shops and brands ranging between retail products, restaurants, cinema and entertainment, and more than 3,500 parking spaces, to meet all the needs of the project.
The center will also include a number of enclosed and open spaces, green areas and water fountains, making it an ideal destination and park for recreation and entertainment for the customers of the "Murcia" project and the suburb in general. The cost of the project, land and construction, is estimated at about 600 million riyals, of which 260 million riyals is the cost of developing the buildings.
For his part, the CEO of National Housing, Engineer Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Bati, confirmed at the signing ceremony of the agreement that this step comes within the stages of developing the “Mursia” project, which is one of the quality projects implemented by the company, and which will enhance the integration of “Mursia” as an integrated community and residential environment.
For his part, the Managing Director of Arabian Centres Company, Mohammed Murad, explained that the “Murcia” project will be one of the pioneering projects, stressing the company’s keenness to be part of the “Murcia” project, looking forward to working with the “National Housing Company(NHC)” projects, in order to achieve access to a vibrant society that keeps pace with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The “Murcia” project is one of a series of quality residential projects developed by the “National Housing Company(NHC)” in Riyadh. It extends over an area of 2.7 million square meters, and the project contains more than 5,000 homes and 570 residential apartments, which are being developed in a modern style that provides an integrated environment that ensures residents have all the means to enjoy a quality of life.
