The National Housing Company (NHC) announced the offering of 5,000 new residential villas distributed across the city of Riyadh, as part of the plan to enhance the real estate supply targeted by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing through the “Sakani” program during the current year 2022. These units are located in the north of the capital and the “Al-Asala” project in its south, within the framework of enabling Saudi families to own homes by providing diverse housing options and solutions of quality and suitable price, in order to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - to raise the rate of homeownership to 70%.

The National Housing Company (NHC) explained that the housing units will be offered in stages during April, with the first projects launching tomorrow, Wednesday. Reservations will be available through the Sakani app and website, as well as through the comprehensive Sakani Center. Other projects will follow as reservations for each project are completed. The projects to be offered include 2,000 housing units of various models and designs north of Riyadh, namely the “Narges View 2” project, “Nassaj Town Narges” and “Saraya Al-Jawan”, in addition to about 3,000 units in the third phase of the Al-Asala project southwest of the capital, Riyadh.

These projects are an extension of the National Housing Company (NHC)’s efforts to provide vibrant, modern communities with distinctive and contemporary designs, as part of its ongoing expansion plans to increase the supply of real estate and provide housing units that suit the needs of Saudi families and their purchasing power, with an average price of 750,000 riyals. These projects are characterized by the integration of infrastructure, services, and necessary facilities, including educational, health, and recreational facilities, among others. The city of Riyadh hosts more than 35 housing projects that provide more than 32,000 diverse housing units, as part of 115 projects that provide more than 149,000 units in various cities of the Kingdom.

It is worth mentioning that the “Sakani” program announced its goal of serving 180,000 families during 2022, including 130,000 families living in their homes, and providing more than 100,000 subsidized mortgage loans. The “Sakani” website and application provide more than 149,000 housing units in 115 projects under construction, in addition to 180,000 residential plots in 223 schemes in the cities and governorates of the Kingdom.
