The Sakani program delivered 710 housing units to Saudi families benefiting from the Ishraq Living project, after the completion of construction work and the delivery of services and infrastructure to the project. This is in line with the program’s commitment to delivering the units to beneficiaries as soon as they are completed, with the remaining units to be delivered to beneficiaries after the completion of construction and implementation work, the delivery of services and the completion of the infrastructure.
This comes as a result of the effective partnership with the private sector through the Partnerships Program, which aims to provide diverse housing solutions and products that meet the needs of citizens at competitive, subsidized prices, in an effort to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program – one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs – by raising the ownership rate to 70% by 2030.
The handover of units in the Ishraq Living project comes as a continuation of what was previously handed over within a number of projects under construction in the city of Riyadh, and it is expected that more projects will be handed over to beneficiaries during the coming period, within the framework of keenness to enable Saudi families to own their first home and benefit from the diverse housing options provided by “Sakani”.
The project is located north of Riyadh, near King Khalid International Airport, on a total area of 554,879 m2, and includes 2,229 residential units divided into 3 different types of residential units (townhouses, villas, duplex apartments), which were built using pre-cast insulated concrete technology, and designed in a way that is characterized by the exploitation of spaces while taking into account privacy.
It is worth mentioning that the "Sakani" website and application offers a variety of housing facilities and services, including: real estate advisor, issuance of real estate transaction tax certificates for the first home, obtaining price quotes from financing entities, issuing land contracts electronically, benefiting from engineering design services and the "approved contractor" service, electronic financing service and the "real estate market", as well as registration and immediate eligibility, and issuing building permits electronically.
