The Sakani program announced the commencement of handing over 990 housing units to beneficiary Saudi families in the Al-Jawhara Residence project located in Jeddah Governorate, after the completion of construction work and the delivery of services and infrastructure to the entire project, as part of the program’s commitment to delivering the units to beneficiaries as soon as they are completed.
This comes as a result of the effective partnership between the public and private sectors through the Partnerships Program, which aims to provide diverse housing solutions and products that meet the needs of citizens at competitive, subsidized prices, in an effort to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program – one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs – by raising the ownership rate to 70% by 2030.
The handover of the Al-Jawhara Residence project comes as a continuation of what was previously handed over within a number of projects in the Makkah region, with more projects to be handed over to beneficiaries in the coming period, as part of “Sakani’s” keenness to enable Saudi families to own their first home and benefit from the diverse housing options provided by the program.
The project is located north of Jeddah Governorate, between the Haramain Road and Madinah Road, north of Jeddah International Airport and the new King Faisal Specialist Hospital, and south of Al-Jawhara Stadium. Its units were designed to the highest standards of quality and specifications, taking into account the diversity of residential unit sizes to meet the needs of the family. The project also cares about the quality of life for residents by providing green spaces, places to practice sports, and recreational areas for children and their families.
