Al-Haqil emphasizes facilitating and fully automating the investor journey through the municipal investment portal "Fursah"... in an effort to increase the private sector's contribution to urban development.
His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, affirmed that the developmental movement witnessed by the Kingdom in all sectors, especially the sector of stimulating cities within the municipal sector, is one of the directions of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, as the Ministry continues to present and launch many innovative initiatives and projects related to the quality of life for citizens, residents and visitors, and are closely linked to the three pillars of the Vision: “A vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation.”
This came during his speech at the launch ceremony of the Al-Jawf Investment Forum 2022 “Invest in Al-Jawf”, which was launched today under the patronage of the Governor of Al-Jawf Region, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, and which is organized by the Al-Jawf Region Municipality to review investment opportunities in the municipal sector in the region and present them to investors.
Al-Haqil expressed his happiness with the development and economic activity in the region, under the supervision of His Highness the Prince of the region, praising His Highness’s initiative to establish a unified center to complete all procedures for investors with government agencies to facilitate the investor’s journey.
His Excellency explained that the Al-Jouf Investment Forum 2022 is a platform for building relationships, sharing ideas, reviewing available investment opportunities in the region, and mapping future opportunities. He emphasized that more than 500 diverse investment opportunities will be presented in the region, targeting all categories of investors and with diverse activities. He stressed that the forum will create many partnerships and memoranda of understanding that will be translated into development projects that achieve goals, provide jobs, and contribute to the advancement and prosperity of the region, as it helps to shorten the path and identify investment directions and options.
Aban Al-Haqil stated that the ministry has begun creating an attractive investment legislative environment and has facilitated investment procedures through the municipal investment portal “Furs” by offering many investment opportunities in a way that achieves transparency and fairness in competitions, as the investor’s journey has become fully electronic and easy from the opportunity to the signing of the contract, stressing that the municipal investment system enhances the quality of life in cities and improves their services.
It is worth mentioning that the Al-Jawf Investment Forum, "Invest in Al-Jawf," comes as a translation of the sector's keenness to create platforms to meet with investors to present opportunities that raise the quality of life in Saudi cities.
