Within 2000 housing units in various regions of the Kingdom

Al-Haqil hands over the first phase of the ownership agreement with "Bunyan" to beneficiaries of the developmental housing program.

Today, His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, handed over a number of housing units to beneficiaries of the developmental housing program in cooperation with the Bunyan Charitable Society.

This is the first batch of the tripartite ownership agreement that was previously signed between the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, the National Housing Development Foundation and the Bunyan Charitable Society, which aims to provide 2,000 housing units for the most needy families within five years in all regions and cities of the Kingdom, by creating a tripartite ownership product to provide housing solutions whose cost is shared by three parties, to ensure expansion in serving a larger segment and at a lower financial cost.

This agreement comes in stages in pursuit of achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by creating the necessary environment for the non-profit sector to take the initiative to meet challenges and seize opportunities. The state is working with the non-profit sector to provide suitable housing support for the most needy families of social security beneficiaries and those in similar circumstances, in addition to enabling the non-profit sector to be more effective in the housing sector, in order to raise its contribution to the gross domestic product and seek to support developmental housing projects in all regions and governorates of the Kingdom.

It is worth mentioning that the Bunyan Charitable Society has succeeded in providing distinguished housing efforts through which it has achieved high numbers, as it has contributed to providing 995 housing units for the ownership track, 572 housing financing solutions, 109 housing units in the rent-to-own track, and the restoration and construction of 277 housing units, in addition to 829 housing endowments. These efforts contribute to achieving family stability for the beneficiaries of the projects, increasing the rate of homeownership for citizens, and achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
