The Off-Plan Sales and Leasing Committee “Wafi” announced that the completion rate of the “Maali Anan” project has reached 98.8%, indicating that the first and second phases of the project units have been completed and handed over to the beneficiaries. It confirmed that the handover of the third and final phase of the remaining residential units of the project will begin in the coming months, after the completion of all construction work and ensuring the delivery of services.
The committee explained that the delay in delivering some units of the third phase of the “Maali Anan” project, located in the Al-Janadriyah neighborhood - east of Riyadh - is due to the procedures related to sorting the deeds for the units, dividing the licenses, and delivering services to the entire project, in addition to the impact of the Corona pandemic on work stoppages and postponements.
The committee affirmed that it oversees the progress of work in the projects and takes all measures that guarantee the rights of beneficiaries, whether the projects are private sector projects or those made available by the “Sakani” program to beneficiaries in partnership with real estate developers in 119 projects that include about 155,000 diverse housing units between villas, apartments and townhouses, to provide a modern life in which the quality of housing units is integrated according to international standards with the availability of diverse facilities and services that enhance the quality of life for its residents.
It is worth mentioning that “Wafi” provides the necessary licenses for off-plan sales projects, monitors their completion rates and the quality of their implementation, in addition to motivating and qualifying real estate developers to create distinguished and integrated projects that meet the aspirations of the real estate market. “Wafi” grants off-plan sales licenses for all residential, commercial, industrial and other real estate projects; to enhance the supply of real estate units, and to contribute to increasing the rate of homeownership for Saudi families in line with the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 -.
