The Sakani program delivered 324 housing units to Saudi families benefiting from the Shams Al-Diyar project north of Riyadh, after the completion of construction work and the completion of the delivery of services and infrastructure to the project, which is being implemented in partnership with real estate developers from the private sector. This is within the framework of the program’s keenness to deliver the units to beneficiaries as soon as they are completed, in an effort to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program – one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 – to raise the rate of homeownership to 70% by the year 2030.

The Shams Al Diyar project is located north of Riyadh in a residential environment that takes into account the availability of sites designated for various service facilities such as schools, mosques, recreational areas, parks and green spaces, within the framework of the interest in providing an integrated quality of life that meets the aspirations of Saudi families. The project provides 503 residential units on an area of up to 343,478 m2.

The major residential suburbs developed by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in partnership with the private sector are equipped with diverse basic elements in terms of facilities, urban planning, and providing a suitable lifestyle for Saudi families, within diverse housing models that include villas, apartments, and townhouses with different specifications, sizes, and modern designs that meet the desires and needs of beneficiaries.

It is worth mentioning that the Sakani program has made available a number of new optional support packages within its solutions and options provided to Saudi families, bringing the number of housing and financing options to 9 options, including (the support package, the rental package, the furniture package, the self-build package, and the home renovation package). These packages provide the beneficiary with flexible and multiple solutions, by providing immediate non-refundable support to beneficiaries of ready-made or under-construction housing units and self-build, in partnership with the Real Estate Development Fund and financing entities from banks, financing institutions, and real estate developers.

All housing services, options, and financing solutions can be accessed through the link https://sakani.sa , or by calling the unified number for beneficiary care (199090) to answer all inquiries, in addition to the "Sakani" application for smart devices, or by visiting the comprehensive "Sakani" center in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, and Khobar.
