"إيجار": توثيق أكثر من 4.5 مليون عقد في الشبكة و4 مليون صفقة سجلها المؤشر الإيجاري حتى نهاية سبتمبر

The “Ejar” program announced that more than 4.5 million electronic rental contracts have been documented on the electronic rental services network, while the rental index recorded about 4 million rental transactions until the end of September, during the workshop held this evening (Tuesday) as part of the activities of the Restatex Jeddah Real Estate Exhibition.

Abdulrahman Al-Sinan, Director of Major Client Relations at "Ejar", confirmed this. During a workshop titled "The Impact of Ejar on the Real Estate Rental Market and its Relationship to Improving the Investment Environment," it was revealed that the number of residential lease contracts documented on the "Ejar" platform exceeded 3.8 million, while commercial lease contracts reached more than 700,000. The rental index recorded approximately 4 million rental transactions, encompassing both residential and commercial properties across more than 16 cities covering all regions of the Kingdom. It was noted that such data promotes transparency and stimulates investment in the Kingdom's rental real estate sector. The service can be accessed on the "Sakani" platform via the following link: https://sakani.sa/reports-and-data

Al-Sinan explained that “Ejar” is an integrated electronic network that aims to regulate the real estate rental sector in the Kingdom and preserve the rights of the parties involved in the rental process (the tenant, the landlord, and the real estate broker). It offers a range of electronic solutions that contribute to developing, regulating, and facilitating the real estate rental sector, thereby achieving balance in the sector, enhancing confidence in it, and contributing to stimulating investment in it, through documenting contracts, activating their use as enforceable instruments, and preserving the rights of all parties involved in the rental process, with unified electronic contracts approved by the Ministry of Justice. This has contributed to reducing disputes in the real estate rental sector and raising its efficiency.

He explained that providing electronic options and tools represents added value in the real estate sector, including: the electronic pickup and delivery service, the rental behavior service to evaluate the rental experience, the rental index, the contract registration service through real estate platforms, and the contract documentation service via the Sakani platform. It was recently launched to enable the landlord, tenant, or their representative to approve the documentation of residential lease contracts registered in "Ejar", as one of the channels for approving the documentation of contracts. - Other services, in addition to the concerted efforts and collaboration with a number of regulatory and service bodies, contributed to achieving these figures and fulfilling the aspirations of beneficiaries of the rental real estate sector, whether landlord, tenant, real estate broker, or investor.

It is worth mentioning that “Ejar”, with the services it provides and works to develop them continuously, contributes to reducing disputes and preserving the rights of the contracting parties, in addition to having strategic partnerships with service providers, to enable the parties to the lease contract to transfer services in the name of the actual beneficiary of the leased unit, in addition to proving financial transactions between the parties to the lease process, through electronic payment, and providing various payment channels for paying lease payments, including: “Mada” and “SADAD”.
