Ikram signs two memoranda of understanding with Al-Tamimi and Al-Sulaimaniyah worth 41 million riyals to develop the sector in Hail and Buraidah

Today, the Ikram Al-Mawta Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding with the Hail Region Municipality and the Abdulmohsen Al-Tamimi Group to contribute to the establishment of the central cemetery in Hail City. Ikram also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Tahjeez Association for the Care of the Deceased in Buraidah and the Sulaimaniyah Investment Company, under which the company will undertake the construction of a mortuary in Buraidah. The Foundation also signed a third agreement with the Qassim Region Municipality and a number of associations in the region, namely: (Rahel Association for the Affairs of the Deceased, Yaqeen Association for the Affairs of the Deceased, and Tahjeez Association for the Care of the Affairs of the Deceased), with the aim of assigning part of the services to the municipality. This was in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ikram Al-Mawta Charitable Foundation, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqil.

The Abdulmohsen Al-Tamimi Group donated 35 million riyals to implement the project to establish the central cemetery in the city of Hail, while Al-Sulaimaniyah Investment Company donated 6 million riyals to establish a mortuary in Buraidah, in an initiative that confirms the support of national companies for humanitarian projects aimed at serving the community.

His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of “Ikram” expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Al-Tamimi Group and Al-Sulaimaniyah Company for their generous donations, which reflect the interest of businessmen and companies in the Kingdom in giving and spending in charitable ways.

His Excellency said: “These initiatives raise the capacity for giving among everyone, especially as we see this dedication and benevolence to serve our community and elevate it to provide outstanding services, whether with time, effort, or money, which contributes to the development and building of our country in all fields.”

The most prominent clauses of the "Hail" agreement include providing the land on which the project is to be established, providing a range of consultations for the project, preparing the designs and engineering plans for the project, determining the appropriate quality and control standards, in addition to implementing the project.

The obligations of both parties in the “Buraidah” project included equipping the building and requirements of the mortuary, securing the necessary materials and tools for washing and shrouding, securing a headquarters for the association for the men’s and women’s section in the new building of the mortuary to facilitate the task of following up on the work, in addition to providing scheduled Sharia courses regarding the rulings on washing, shrouding and burying the deceased.

Representing “Ikram” in signing the Hail region project was the Secretary-General of the Foundation, Engineer Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Nughaither, while the Hail region Secretariat was represented by the Secretary of the region, Engineer Sultan bin Hamed Al-Zaidi, and “Abdulmohsen Al-Tamimi Group” was represented by Youssef Al-Harish, and Al-Sulaimaniyah Investment Company was represented in the “Buraidah” project by Abdulrahman bin Sulaiman Al-Rashid, and the “Tajhiz” Association was represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Mahous.
