His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, and his accompanying delegation visited the headquarters ofNAVER, a company specializing in providing technical solutions in the field of digital transformation. It is the first company in South Korea in this sector, where His Excellency discussed the possibility of exchanging experiences and enhancing cooperation in the smart solutions sector to support the technological and digital transformation.
The tour of His Excellency the Minister and his accompanying delegation also included a visit toPangyo Valley, a smart city cluster and headquarters for startups, which includes more than 200 startups.
His Excellency Minister Al-Haqil also listened to a presentation fromLH Company , which specializes in construction and housing, and His Excellency was briefed on its experience in developing construction and housing technologies according to the latest systems.
Minister Al-Haqil expressed his admiration for the Korean experience in the field of technology and its applications in the municipal services, housing, construction, digital transformation and smart cities sectors.
Minister Al-Haqil’s visit to the startup headquarters comes as part of the first day of his visits and meetings in the Korean capital, Seoul, which will continue for two days.
