The “Baladi” platform confirmed that the self-assessment service for commercial establishments aims to enhance the compliance of establishment owners with municipal requirements and to confirm the reliability of their services to their customers, as they can obtain a certificate of completion of the assessment through the “Self-Assessment” platform, and display it in the commercial establishment optionally.
This service is part of a series of initiatives and programs launched by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing within the framework of the digital transformation strategy to support the business sector.
The service aims to explain the procedures for classifying and self-assessment of the establishment in a guiding manner, and to facilitate the evaluation process for establishments within the proposed activities, while informing the establishment of the financial limits of the competitions and projects that it can apply for according to its classification level, in addition to informing customers and visitors of the shops of the extent of the establishment’s compliance with municipal requirements, and informing the establishment of its strengths and weaknesses before entering into the classification procedures. It also saves the establishment the trouble of going to the municipality after completing the self-assessment procedures and issuing the final certificate for one year from the date of issuance. The service also aims to inform the establishment of the current assessment and encourage raising the score in the future assessment.
