His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, inaugurated the Sakani Program Exhibition, which provides housing solutions and options for Saudi families to enable them to own their homes through easy and convenient procedures in line with the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - at the headquarters of the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Washington, as part of His Excellency’s official visit to the United States of America to discuss opportunities for cooperation and partnership between the two countries at the level of the municipal and housing sectors.
The exhibition, which runs until next Wednesday, targets Saudi families residing in the United States for work or study, to inform them about housing options and financing solutions offered by the Sakani program in cooperation with its partners from the National Housing Company and the Real Estate Development Fund. The options include (purchasing ready-made housing units, housing units under construction in the off-plan sales style within integrated residential suburbs and communities that provide more than just housing, and self-build for those who own land and wish to build it themselves, taking advantage of the various financing support packages that suit all categories).
The exhibition also introduces the eligibility mechanism and how to benefit from solutions through easy steps via the "Sakani" electronic platform and its advanced digital services, including instant eligibility, real estate consultant, engineering and interior designs, issuing licenses and other multiple services that facilitate the beneficiaries' journey and enable them to own their homes.
His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, accompanied by the Saudi Cultural Attaché to the United States of America, Dr. Tahani bint Abdulaziz Al-Baiz, reviewed the sections of the exhibition and the services it provides to visitors, stressing the need to provide integrated services to Saudi families and to make all facilities and services available to them, noting the Ministry’s continuous keenness within the housing program to communicate with beneficiaries in order to provide services and solutions that meet their aspirations, desires and capabilities.
After that, His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing met with a number of male and female students on scholarships to the United States of America, and listened to their views and suggestions related to the housing sector, urban development, municipal services and other related topics. His Excellency also answered a number of inquiries raised about current and future plans, programs and initiatives, praising the supportive and enriching ideas they presented, wishing them success in their studies and a return to the homeland to contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 across various fields and specializations.
