Baladi concluded its participation in the Cityscape Global Exhibition, which was held during the period 11-14 November 2024 in Malham, showcasing the most prominent transformations and technological shifts that took place on the Baladi platform.
“Baladi” highlighted the qualitative shift of the new phase in providing digital services on its platform, through the “Digita Twin” digital twin platform to simulate the reality of cities, which is considered one of the main turning points for a more sustainable and clear future for cities, through which the “city manager” is assisted in planning, management and monitoring. Baladi presented a model that simulates reality and reflects the future vision, and is applied in three cases, which are the ability to manage cities through crisis and flood management, data analysis, population density and congestion, and urban planning to build smart cities.
“Baladi” explained that such services contribute to making life easier for beneficiaries in the municipal sector, in terms of discovering convenient ways to access, or building a mental image after building the real estate unit and how to live with the surroundings, which are often used in off-plan sales projects.
During its participation in Cityscape, Baladi showcased models of its maps that it intends to launch soon, and developed a pioneering business model in collaboration with partners in the public and private sectors. The Baladi pavilion received many official visits and high-level delegations from various countries and entities interested in municipal and technical affairs, where everyone was briefed on the most prominent and latest technologies used by Baladi.
The digital twin is a management model whose mission is to bridge the gap between physical and digital components or assets in order to improve understanding of the current reality of things, and thus make a more accurate and efficient decision. The digital twin means representing physical assets, people and processes, and is built with the aim of supporting current strategic goals or developing new goals.
My country signed a number of agreements in a qualitative step towards achieving the strategy aimed at promoting technology, innovation and digital infrastructure, developing innovative services and technical solutions that enhance the level of efficiency and transparency in the real estate and municipal sectors, and technology in general, and contributing to providing integrated solutions that make it easier for developers, investors and end users to access diverse services that meet the growing needs of the Saudi market, in addition to supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by providing innovative digital solutions, and achieving more economic diversification.
