The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Colleges of Excellence, aiming to strengthen joint collaboration to explore the establishment of an academy specializing in training, qualification, and job localization in the municipal and housing sectors. The signing took place on the sidelines of the Investment in Education Forum held in Riyadh.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Ministry by Turki bin Abdullah Aldubaikhi, Deputy Minister for Human Capabilities Development, while Eng. Ayman bin Mustafa Al-Abdullah, CEO of Colleges of Excellence, signed on behalf of the company.

The memorandum aims to align training and qualification programs with the needs of the municipal and housing sectors, and to launch strategic partnerships that contribute to increasing training opportunities and developing national capabilities. It also includes exchange of expertise, research and studies, participation in initiatives and job fairs, and cooperation in designing professional certifications that meet labor market requirements.

It is worth noting that this memorandum reflects the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing the efficiency and skills of national talents through the provision of specialized training programs that support the qualification and empowerment of Saudi professionals to assume specialized roles in the municipal and housing sectors, in line with the goals of Vision 2030.
