The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing continues its efforts to enhance the urban landscape and improve the quality of life in cities across the Kingdom under the slogan "Because It’s My City", in collaboration with municipalities in various regions. The goal is to create an integrated and attractive urban environment that meets the aspirations of residents and visitors alike.

The current phase of these efforts focuses on four main elements that directly impact the aestheticsof the urban landscape and daily lifestyle: waste and container accumulation, random placement of concrete barriers, fencing of under-construction buildings, cleanliness levels in public areas. Addressing these issues contributes to improving the overall appearance, enhancing quality of life, facilitating traffic flow, and eliminating visual pollution and random practices in cities.

The Ministry emphasized that these efforts positively impact the cleanliness of public spaces, facilities, squares, and parks, especially in high-density areas, thereby reinforcing the foundations of modern cities and enriching the experience for both residents and visitors.

Through these efforts, the Ministry aims to increase compliance with regulations, reduce all forms of visual pollution, and encourage the community to collaborate and report violations via Balady app or official interactive channels. It also invites the public to submit suggestions that contribute to accelerating remediation processes, underscoring the importance of active partnership between the Ministry, municipalities, citizens, and residents in embodying the concept of social responsibility and contributing to building a sustainable urban environment.

It is worth noting that "Because It’s My City" is part of the Ministry’s efforts to achieve the goals of Vision 2030, which aims to develop organized and thriving cities and provide an integrated urban environment that meets the aspirations of all segments of society.
