The Minister of Municipalities and Housing inspects development projects in Hafr Al-Batin and inaugurates several projects worth more than 2.6 billion riyals.

Under the patronage of His Highness Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdullah bin Faisal, Governor of Hafr Al-Batin, His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqil, inaugurated today a number of development projects and a number of quality projects, most notably the rainwater and flood drainage project, in addition to several investment and municipal projects in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate, with a total value exceeding (2.6) billion riyals, in the presence of ministry officials and local leaders.

His Excellency conducted a field tour of the governorate’s projects, including the Water Entertainment City project, which is one of the qualitative initiatives aimed at enhancing recreational and tourism activities in the governorate and supporting the path of balanced urban development.

The Minister met with a number of citizens and listened to their comments and suggestions regarding municipal and housing services, stressing that the citizen is a key partner in determining development priorities, while the private sector represents a pivotal support for achieving national goals.

At the headquarters of the Hafr Al-Batin Municipality, His Excellency was briefed on the City View platform. Digital technology contributes to monitoring the progress of projects and increasing the efficiency of their completion. He also held a meeting with the leadership of the Secretariat to discuss development plans and future programs.

His Excellency Minister Al-Haqil affirmed that the launch of these projects is in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and aims to improve the quality of services, enhance infrastructure, and enable investment, thereby contributing to making the Kingdom’s cities more competitive and attractive for living and working.
