Today, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing signed a joint memorandum of understanding with the "Riyadat Al-Furs" company, as part of the activities of the "Cityscape Global 2025" exhibition held in Riyadh during the period from November 17 to 20, with broad local and international participation in the real estate and housing development sector.
The memorandum aims to enhance joint cooperation between the Ministry and Riyada Al-Fursa Company in the areas of developing municipal services and expanding the investment base in commercial and service activities, by unifying efforts in studying development opportunities and improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The memorandum includes cooperation in developing innovative solutions to support the municipal sector and enable entrepreneurs to invest in municipal services, in addition to providing technical and technological advice in the areas of privatization, operation and marketing, and raising the efficiency of small and medium enterprises involved in providing municipal services.
The memorandum also stipulates joint work to develop quality investment initiatives in Saudi cities, and to enhance the efficiency of the business environment by improving procedures and simplifying regulatory requirements, in addition to studying new models of partnerships between the public and private sectors in the areas of operation, management and support services.
This memorandum comes within the framework of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing’s efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with the private sector and support the entrepreneurship system in the municipal sector, which contributes to developing a stimulating investment environment, enhances the efficiency of services, and improves the quality of life in Saudi cities.
