Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing signed today a joint cooperation agreement with Al-Fanar Building Systems Company, as part of the activities of the Cityscape Global 2025 exhibition, which is being hosted by the city of Riyadh during the period from November 17 to 20, with broad local and international participation in the real estate development and construction sector.
The agreement aims to enable Saudi talents to train and work in the modern building systems sector, through the "Promising Path" program, one of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Programs, which focuses on aligning education with the labor market, and providing trainees with the technical skills necessary to participate in the development of advanced building projects.
Under the agreement, the ministry will cooperate with the company in identifying training needs, approving candidates who meet the program requirements, and following up on their training stages until employment. In addition, the company is committed to signing employment contracts with the trainees sent after the training periods end, and providing a professional environment that allows them to apply what they have acquired in terms of knowledge and skills.
The agreement also stipulated the establishment of a monitoring and evaluation mechanism to ensure the quality of training and its results, and to enhance the partnership between the public and private sectors in developing national human capabilities in the fields of construction and technological innovation.
This agreement comes as part of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing’s efforts to support scholarship and training programs related to the municipal and urban sector, and to build a sustainable system for developing national competencies, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in localizing jobs and raising the efficiency of performance in modern construction projects.
